Wow. Time flies when you are buried beneath a pile of work.
I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted on my blog here. I intended to be much more on top of things, but life happens.
Let me explain a couple reasons for the lack of blogging lately:
1) End of the year chaos within the youth ministry
2) Guests visiting
3) Working on getting my doctoral dissertation proposal accepted
4) doing some research for writing my dissertation
5) Weekends like this one - where I have 7 Ministry Events in 3 days (UGH)
a) Fri night = 6th grade graduation
b) Satufday = 8th grade graduation
c) Sunday =
1. Make-up Meeting for Jr. High Mission trip training meeting #1
2. Sunday School
3. Veritas Worship service
4. Jr. High Mission Trip training meeting #2
5. South Africa Mission Trip meeting
6) Getting my entire summer program completed through the end of August since I will be in town only 3 weeks out of this entire summer.
7) Getting ready for the South Africa Mission Trip
I am sure there is more... but I think you get the idea. It has been insanely crazy. So, sorry for the lack of updates.
I will try and get back on top of things as the chaos becomes a bit more controlled (Hey, that sounds like a great book title for Jr. High Ministry - "Controlled Chaos" - wow... I should write a book by that title.... Hey, wait, my friend Kurt Johnston already did... and it is a great book too. Oh well, there goes that idea. hehehe)
