For the past 5 days I have had the worst insomnia. And to make matters worse, it isn't like I finally fall asleep and then sleep in for a while in the morning. I've been waking up between 6 and 6:30 am for the past 5 days as well. I've tried a few different things to help me try and sleep, but so far none of them have worked. I can't seem to get my brain to shut down. And I know I am missing my wife and girls as they are away for a couple of weeks.
On the plus side, I've tried to be very productive during the time I can't sleep. I figure, "hey, if I can't sleep, I might as well get some work and projects done." Been cranking along quickly on one of my projects. So, I guess there's the silver lining.
